10 RULES TO LIVE BY


1. Love your body, your mind, and your past, love every miniscule, microscopic, electric impulse about your self. You are perfection made into reality. Your perfection is not limited to a time in your past or to a time in the future when you ‘were a better person’ or when you ‘will be a better person’. These ideas only hurt your self-image in the now. Learn to love the amazing person you are right now.

2. Love others for who they are now. By allowing others the freedom to express their perfect selves, you allow for others to return the favor. However, if someone steps on your self-love boundaries, step one is to let them know in a loving manner what happened and if it happens again, simply remove yourself from the situation permanently until your boundaries are respected. By doing so, you proclaim your love for yourself by not tolerating your boundaries to be disrespected and the love for the other person by allowing them to be whom they wish to be without your intervention. NOTE: This does not mean you become a door mat to people's dramas, their insults, or unfounded acusations. Self love also means defending yourself when constantly provoked. It is up to you to determine in what lady-like (gentleman) manner you handle each situation and internally digest how personal dramas created the situation in the first place. Yes, all external conflict is created from internal unbalance.

3. Eat healthy and exercise. Healthy is a relative term and only you know what that means for you. Keep in mind that food can be a deadly drug. Maintain food in its proper perspective, which is to nourish our bodies and to be enjoyed.

4. Let Go! And Grab On! By releasing all memories which cause pain or sadness from your now, you allow for pleasant feelings to come in to your daily experience. Choose happy moments everyday. By the way, laughter is contagious, spread a smile or two today.

5. Money DOES grow on trees. Health IS for everyone. Great jobs are ABUNDANT for you with your qualifications. Since scientists have explained that our brains are like electric machines sending out signals, much like a radio antenna, send out abundance, health, wealth, and happiness signals. Focus on what you wish to receive. Whether by cutting out clippings out of magazines and constantly seeing them, or listening to authors such as Esther & Jerry Hicks, Louise Hay, Vimala Rodgers, Deepak Chopra, Don Miguel Ruiz, Paolo Coelho, on your way to work or while you work out. Surround yourself with positive images and these images will find their way to you.

6. Stay in a happy state of mind as much as you can during the day. When others influence our state of being, no matter what others say or do to us, we release our empowerment, we give our power to that other individual to control us. If an environment brings on feelings of sadness, love yourself enough to remove yourself from that environment and find one that has you smiling and feeling wonderful about yourself. You choose everyday, make a happy choice today, now.

7. Meditate, journal write, pray, sing, dance, just let your inner being, your unconscious know how things are right now and how you would like them to be. While showering, during the day at lunch, or before bedtime, take time to communicate with your universe.

8. Be grateful for everything! The more grateful you feel towards life, the happier you will feel. If you are always thanking your car for taking you to work, your bus driver for driving you safely, your company for being in business and signing your checks every pay period, your food for nourishing you, your eyes for allowing you to see and to be able to drive, your ears for allowing you to listen to your favorite music, your legs for allowing you to walk, for the hot water when you shower, for the food in your fridge, etc, you will stay in constant vibration with gratefulness which equals abundance, which means more will come into your life.

9. Make the decision to begin a new happy life today. Make this new life, this new choice EVEYDAY when you first wake up, before you open your eyes tell yourself (out loud, if possible) how amazing life is for granting all of your desires everyday. Keep an eye open for all the amazing coincidences that happen since you started doing this ritual.

10. Laugh at least once a day. The proper laugh is out loud, soiling-your-undergarments funny, rolling on the floor because you fell of your chair, and maintain until your cheeks hurt, your eyes are watering, and you are heading for the nearest relief area. Go to comedy central, look up jokes, do something to find something that will make you laugh this way.



 

Finally, be mindful of your thoughts, the words you speak, and your actions. Your thoughts shape your words; your words shape your actions; and your actions shape the current experience you are living everyday.
